I initially moved to NYC to go to College (NYU) and pursue a career as an actor. For years, I worked in the theater, regionally, in international and national tours, and eventually on Broadway! It’s been an awesome journey, and along the way I rekindled my passion for photography, something that had always been a hobby of mine since I built a dark room in my basement with my dad when I was in High School. He taught me all about photography, and it wasn’t until years later when I was touring with a show and taking headshots for my colleagues that realized it could be more than just a hobby.

I absolutely love taking photos because it gives me the chance to connect with and learn about new and fascinating people! As an artist, coming from a visual and performing background, every photo shoot is also a test for me to see how accurately I can capture the essence of the person in front of my camera.

I also believe that, especially now with the abundance of social media outlets and opportunities for ourselves and our businesses to be ‘on display,’ it is more crucial than ever for people to present themselves in the best possible light, and that it shouldn’t cost a fortune to be able to do so.
